MEANING OF TANTRA
As a misconception, nowadays most people relate Tantra only with sexual intercourses and focus on the following meaning:
“In Sanskrit, the word tantra means woven together. People who practice Buddhist and Hindu meditation may also practice tantric sex as a way to “weave” the physical with the spiritual. This practice brings together spirituality and sexuality and emphasizes the importance of intimacy during a sexual experience.”
However, Tantra is not only sexual, as one can practice tantra daily on their own. It can help to situations where the woman wishes to become pregnant but the couple does not manage to achieve so, when the woman is suffering from hard times during her period or pregnancy, or even when one has really low confidence and low self-esteem. We equally use Tantric therapies to overcome physical or mental traumas related with the sexual life of the person.
You can be tantric by embracing your own self, accept you as a whole human being and focus on specific meditating methods for a period of time.
Tantra is absolutely related with yoga, as it connects the dimensions of mind, body, spirit with the fourth one that reaches the Divine.
As women, we carry along in our wombs many wounds.
